Chennai and beyond for Suriya's 'Masss'

Suriya starrer Lingusamy directorial Anjaan is gearing up for a 2014 Independence Day release. The film stars Samantha as the heroine and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music has been well received by the audience.

Meanwhile Suriya has begun his next film to be directed by Venkat Prabhu titled 'Masss'. The film started on an auspicious note with a 'poojai' recently.

The shoot of the film as reported earlier will begin in Chennai next week. There are plans for some scenes and songs to be shot abroad but the locales are yet to be confirmed.

'Masss' will have Nayanthara, Amy Jackson, Parthiban as Suriya's co-stars with Yuvan Shankar Raja, editor Praveen and cinematographer R D Rajasekar as part of the technical department.

What does the Anjaan game 'Race Wars' have to offer?

Behindwoods gave a sneak peek on the android interfaced game for Anjaan that will feature Suriya and some 'state of the art' graphics in it. Here we give more about the Anjaan thematic game called "Race Wars" featuring 'Anjaan' Suriya.

The 'Anjaan' is seen chasing the baddie with his racer like driving skills on a red colored high speed machine with spoilers. Thanks to Yuvan's tunes, the teaser begins like a typical well-known "Need For Speed" car game's demo.

The armed macho man Suriya is seen effortless with his cowboy-like histrionics with the gun. With the technology coming by, attempts like these also excite gaming enthusiasts during film releases. Kudos to team Anjaan for the attempt.

The much awaited track list of Anjaan is here. The album scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja has five tracks and they are as follows

1. 'Bang Bang Bang' written by Karky and sung by K G Ranjith

2. 'Oru Kan Jaadai' by Benny Dayal and Shweta Pandit for the lines of Viveka

3. 'Ek Do Teen' in the voices of Suriya and Andrea Jeremiah whose lyrics are penned by Naa Muthukumar

4. 'Kaadhal Aasai' by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Sooraj Santosh written by Kabilan

5. 'Sirippu En' by Manasi written by Viveka

As mentioned earlier, the audio release of Anjaan directed by Lingusamy is all sent to happen on July 22^nd at Chennai Trade Center, Nandambakkam.

Expectedly unexpected title for Suriya-Venkat Prabhu film

Venkat Prabhu must have taken the requests from fans a bit too literally to coin a 'mass' title for his upcoming outing with Suriya. The popular director, in his usually nonchalant tongue in cheek sense of humour, has announced that the film will be called 'Masss' - A Venkat Prabhu Title.

Interestingly the idea doesnt appear to be a random selection as VP also revealed that Suriya will be "in and as" Masss, indicating that there might be a character connect with the title after all.

Just in - Anjaan's Punch Dialogue !

"You think I am a pigeon that flees at the sound of a cracker ? I wait patiently and seize the prey. I am the Eagle... Anjaan". What could this possibly be? Make sure you read it twice. When Suriya says it on the silver screen, thunderous response can hardly make us listen to this punch dialogue from Anjaan.

We have of course put up the English version of the dialogue tweeted by UTV Motion Pictures' Dhananjayan just moments ago. Imagine the effortless Suriya reciting it to the baddies. Just like the trademark punch dialogues from the Singam series, this particular verbal outrage from the Anjaan hero will definitely go viral.

Anjaan audio launch on July 17 !!!

Jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Thirupathi Brothers, Anjaan is directed by Lingusamy and has Samantha Ruth Prabhu sharing screen space with Surya for the first time. The expectations are skyrocketing already thanks to the the timely promotional activities from the makers. The audio launch for the film is scheduled on July 17th and the details about the venue and chief guests are expected today evening. The official first-look teaser of the film will be unveiled in Vijay Awards on July 5th and will be available on YouTube the same night by 10 PM. Madhan Karky’s opening song ‘Bang Bang Bang’ is highly anticipated by Surya’s ardent fans. Anjaan also marks Yuvan’s first big film this year. Vanavarayan Vallavarayan, his sole album to have released this year received lukewarm response from music buffs and his fans are eagerly waiting for Anjaan to provide the much-needed breakthrough for Yuvan.

Vijay, Ajith, Rajini, Siva Karthikeyan and now Suriya

Suriya starrer Anjaan gets bigger with every passing day. With the teaser of the movie, directed by Lingusamy, to be released on the 5th of July, Sony Music South has acquired the audio rights of the movie. They, in their twitter page, said, “We are proud to be associated with Suriya, Samantha starrer Anjaan in Yuvan Shankar Raja's music. Audio coming soon!”

The Audio launch is scheduled to happen on the 17th of this month. Santhosh Sivan cranks the camera for this biggie, which will release on this year’s Independence Day.

Sony Music South's other recent big acquisitions include Maan Karate, Kochadaiiyaan, Arrambam and Thalaivaa. All these albums turned out to be big hits and Anjaan is expected to follow suit.
